2022 Summer Camps Are Open For June, July, & August...

Batters Up Baking Camp!

Cookies, brownies, and cakes, oh my! Yes, this exciting camp is perfect for the child who loves to bake! During this camp, campers will have the chance to bake some of their favorite delicious dishes and maybe even try one they have not had before!

Join us Monday, June 13 – Thursday, June 16   from 9 am – 2 pm

Minimum number: 6, incoming 1st graders and up. Please send your child with a refillable water bottle, snack, and lunch.

Camp Fee: $219.00

 

The Beat Goes On Music Camp

Come learn all the ins-and-outs of American music! In this camp, we will explore the roots and evolution of the American sound, study different musical genres, and learn about many, many artists, bands, and groups from the U.S. and even some from other countries who helped inspire or were inspired themselves by American music. We will also delve into singing and songwriting and will experiment with different musical instruments. We will listen to a lot of music and will be doing a lot of singing, so come prepared to have fun! If you can play an instrument, you are more than welcome to bring it, but you do not have to have or play an instrument to attend.

Join us Monday, June 20 – Friday, June 24 from 9am – 2pm

Minimum number: 5, incoming 1st graders and up. Please send your child with a refillable water bottle, snack, and lunch. Musical instruments may be brought, as well, but are not required.

Camp Fee: $249.00

 

Diamond Minds Baseball Summer Enrichment Camp!

Come join Mr. Rawls and experience the perfect combo of academics and baseball! Unlike most baseball camps, this camp is not focused on coaching and playing the game, but instead, we will go in-depth into the Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Language Arts, and Social Sciences that combine to provide us with the National Pastime we all know and love. Classroom lessons include General Baseball (Baseball 101), Baseball Math, Baseball Geography, Health and Nutrition, Informative Writing/Sports Journalism, Physics of Baseball, Ballpark Engineering and Technology of Baseball, Civil Rights in Baseball History, and Baseball in Pop Culture. Activities will include a virtual tour of Minute Maid Park, mock press conferences, play-by-play broadcasting, and a tour of the Portable Houston Baseball Museum which will be set-up on campus to teach the history of baseball in Houston. A baseball-food-themed lunch will be provided each day and be sure to pack your glove!

13th Annual Summer Success Summit!

Back by popular demand, is our popular Summer Success Summit! This year we have added another week as requested by many of our students! Each year the students learn specific success strategies and what is involved in a success mindset. Over the past several years we have published a book that summarizes our learning so other children can benefit also. In the past we have written about, success, happiness and the power of your inner coach. Each day is filled with adventure, games, discussions and teamwork. On July 27th, we cook our lunch and arrive prepared to stay in character as if it was July 27th, 2032. The power of this forecasting is phenomenal! Come join the fun and learn skills to last a lifetime with Mrs. Elder and Mrs. Rawls!

Join us Monday, July 11 – Thursday, July 28   from 9am – 5pm        

Minimum number: 10, incoming 3rd graders and up

Camp Fee: $997.00 includes all supplies, snacks, a copy of our book and one lunch on July 27th. Please send a lunch on all other days of camp.

Art Studio Camp!

The TAB Art Studio is open for camp! Come join us to experience different art stations like Fiber Arts, Sculpting, Painting, and/or Sketching. With an open studio, the possibilities are endless. We can wait to see what the students create!

Join us Monday, August 1 – Thursday, August 4   from 9am – 2pm

Minimum number: 5, incoming 1st graders and up

Camp Fee: $197.00

 

Culinary Delights!

So many of our students love to cook and have asked us if we can offer a cooking class this summer. Campers will meet Monday morning and plan the weeks’ lunches. Then we will head to the grocery store and gather all our supplies and ingredients to prepare our gourmet meals. 😊 Students will not only learn new recipes and cooking techniques, but they will also have the opportunity to try their hand at budgeting, shopping for ingredients, prepping the food, cooking, and serving each other! In addition, campers will learn the art of food etiquette, conversation, and food presentation. We will end this fun filled week on Friday at Mrs. Elder’s house for a grilled lunch and Pool Party! Don’t miss out on this exciting camp!

Minimum number: 6, incoming 1st graders and up

Camp Fee: $247.00

 

Study Skills & Learning Strategies!

If your child is ready to get back in the swing of things, but not totally ready for full time school, this might be the answer for your family. Come and join us as we brush up on our skills and gently get back into the groove!! Activities include but are not limited to read-a-loud stories, card/dice games for Math Facts, board games, of course, quality playground time and reunite friendships!

Join us Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays August 16 – 25   from 9am – 12pm

Drop in’s welcome, incoming 1st – 5th grades

Daily Fee: $30.00 (includes snack and supplies)

 

Construction Camp!

Come join us to experience different types of construction. We will be exploring everything from Legos and blocks to dioramas and woodworking. Come build with us, the possibilities are endless. We can wait to see what the students create!

Join us Monday, August 15 – Friday, August 26   from 9am – 4pm

Minimum number: 5, incoming 1st graders and up. Please send your child with a refillable water bottle, snack, and lunch.

Camp Fee: $267.00/week
